Some pianos need attention that requires removing the action and working in a controlled environment.
For these situations, I offer off-site action maintenance, which may include:

  • sluggish or uneven hammer return

  • sticking keys caused by internal friction

  • loose, noisy, or worn minor components

  • basic cleaning, tightening, and light mechanical correction

This service is limited to minor mechanical work only.
Anything major or structurally complex will not be performed — and if deeper work is needed, I’ll explain the situation clearly so you can make an informed decision.

What I Do

Piano Tuning

Routine tunings, pitch adjustments, and seasonal touch-ups to keep your piano sounding its best.
Whether your instrument needs a standard tuning or a pitch raise, I make the process straightforward and stress-free.

Many common piano issues can be solved during the same visit as a tuning, if it’s something quick and practical, I handle it on the spot.

Action Repair & Maintenance (Off-Site Only)

Some pianos need light mechanical attention beyond what can be done during a standard tuning visit.
For these situations, I offer off-site action maintenance, where I carefully remove the action, take it to my workshop, and address minor issues such as:

  • sluggish or sticking keys

  • uneven hammer return

  • loose or noisy parts

  • small mechanical inconsistencies

  • basic cleaning and tightening

This service is limited to minor mechanical work only — no major rebuilding or large-scale restoration.
If deeper work is needed, I’ll let you know honestly and help you decide on the best next step.
